The Original Savant Garde

Due to our increasing popularity, many upstarts have suddenly flooded the Web with distorted versions of our analytic/existentialist philosophy in the arts which stresses:
precision of expression and clarity of thought toward
"the creation of Beauty in the Human Subject."
To preserve our reputation and philosophy, we have been forced to safeguard our corporate image by trademarking the name "Savant Garde/SavantGarde" to keep it from becoming as trivialized and corrupted as our historical precursor, "The Avant Garde."
At the risk of being accused of having adopted an underground version of the "Good Housekeeping Seal" to differentiate Us from Them, we must insist, in proper McLuhanist protocol, that only the sites linked here are legally franchised to identify themselves as part of the legitimate Savant Garde Movement.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: All unauthorized sites will be prosecuted for trade and trademark infringement unless they immediately cross out the "S" of the "Savant Garde" in all their upstart literature and paraphernalia, thereby laying righteous claim to their own artistic genre, "The Xavant Garde"!
If any of these displaced Xavants want to apply to our Conglomerate, they should link to our Guidelines to find out what type of artistic message truly qualifies and under what membership or publishing category.
(Excessive body piercing, tatooing, drugs, and every other form of abuse of the Human biopersona are automatically excluded; as is stupidity - including intellectual snobbery!)
We were the first to link aesthetics to epistemology; the first to offer workshops in Critical Thinking to our apprentices and their audience; and the only nonsectarian group of the 1950's, '60's and '70's to vigorously reject the drug culture, even while staging activist Happenings to promote peace and universal human rights.
Most of us are reluctant to even be listed as part of any movement other than our own. The exigencies of Web visibility dictate otherwise.
The Savant Garde Conglomerate, which includes a literary archive, a publisher, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt educational foundation, and a growing variety of projected commercial franchise offerings, have undertaken to confer upon select colleagues of our historical acquaintance the laurel crown of Champion among the Avant Garde.
Let this growing list provide the paradigm for our 21st Century expansion.
